Garfield School students celebrated their summer reading achievements with a Luau Party! Students made sand art, participated in arts and crafts, worked on STEM activities, and more!
At Garfield School, Ms. Benenati's class were true weather watchers! They created their own "Breeze Buddies" and took them outside to measure the wind. The class was blown away by the amount of fun they had!
Today in Mr. Capaleo's class, we had an exciting lesson on forces! The students learned about push forces by using straws to navigate a fun obstacle course. They explored how to apply a push to move objects around different challenges, making learning hands-on and engaging.

Garfield School: In Mrs. Mancuso's 2nd grade science lesson, students explored different properties of materials used for clothing and why we wear clothes. They designed and built hats that could protect them from the sun.
Garfield School has some "Kind Cookies" in the house! These students were recognized for acts of kindness.
