Next week we celebrate Respect Week and learn about many ways to show kindness and respect to ourselves and others.
Garfield School Library turned into the "Starbooks Cafe." Students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 visited the library to for a book tasting. Everyone had so much fun reading and reviewing books of all different genres.
Garfield School's 4th Graders learned about improving their community by making a pledge to
help end social isolation and build a connected and inclusive community during "Start With Hello" week. Each student made an "In My Shoes" cartoon. When we see someone who is alone, reach out and help.
