Schuyler School - As our PreK4 students finish thier unit on Percussion Instruments they enjoyed an assembly with our Kearny High School Percussion Band. The high school students taught them about each instrument and played a few songs ! They were amazing and our students got to see and hear how these percussion instruments are played!!
Schuyler School - After completing a lesson on Native Americans, students in Ms. MacDonald's class created names for their characteristics or likes as Native Americans do for naming!

Schuyler School - Congratulations to our Achieve3000 winning class for October. Ms. Esparra's class had the most activities completed at 75% or higher!
Schuyler School - Ms. Hoeller and Mr. Gorin had a great time collaborating to bring Schuyler School’s Pre-K classes together to meet and listen to the Schuyler School’s percussion instruments. We thank Mr. Gorin and his band members for inspiring these future band members !
Schuyler School - Ms. DeRay's class visited Mr. Gorin today and his 6th grade band members played some percussion instruments for them. They also helped teach them how to play each of the instruments. They had so much fun! I think we have some future band members in Pre-K!
Schuyler School - Congratulations to our i-Ready winners for October. These students had the most iReady math lessons passed in each homeroom for the month of Octo ber. Then we also celebrated the students who had the most lessons passed in each grade level and the grand champ who had the most lessons passed in the whole school!!

Schuyler School - Our 4th grade students really enjoyed a visit from Veolia who taught them a lesson about Why Boats Float.

Schuyler School - Congratulations to our Achieve3000 individual winners for October! These students had the highest increase in lexile level in each grade level!
Schuyler School - Our Peers Food Drive collected 11 boxes of perishable food plus bags of pasta and cases of cans. Special thanks to all our students and staff who donated!
