Congratulations to the winners of Kearny School District's first-ever iReady reading contest! Students from each of our elementary schools participated in "12 Days of iReady," competing for the title of "top performing" class in each grade level by having the most passed lessons. Great job, readers!

Schuyler School Staff Giving Back! - The Schuyler School Staff participated in the Salvation Army Angels program providing holiday gifts for local families.
6th grade choir students from Schuyler, Roosevelt, and Washington elementary schools participated in The Town of Kearny's Annual Tree Lighting. Lead by their Music teachers Yulema Bernal and Scott Burzynski, they sang "Last Christmas" and were the final act before our Mayor, Carol Jean Doyle, and Members of the Town Council, illuminated the beautiful tree for all to see! Thank you to the Town of Kearny for involving our students in a memorable evening!

Schuyler School - Congratulations to our iReady Math winners for November. These students had the most lessons passed for each homeroom, and then we honored the students who had the most lessons passed for the grade level and the grand champ for the whole school for the month of November!

Schuyler School - Congratulations to Mr. Silpoch's class for winning our Achieve3000 contest for November. His class had the most activities completed with a score of 75% o r better!
Schuyler School - Third Graders at Schuyler School participated in our First Thanksgiving Day Parade. The students were challenged to create their own balloon float. Each third grade class voted for their favorite balloon. All students did amazing!
