At Franklin School, Miss Murray prepares an excited group of preschoolers for their transition to Kindergarten with an interactive reading of the classic tale "The Night Before Kindergarten."
🎉🎨 Ms. De Matos and Ms. Hinostroza’s End of the Year Activity was a hit! 📝📊 Students got creative by graphing each letter of their names and displaying them on a bulletin board. Friends and classmates had a blast guessing the area of each name. The closest guess won a cool prize! 🎁🏆 What a fun and educational way to wrap up the year!

Ms. Klein's class went on a field trip to LifeTown in Livingston, NJ. There were many different activities for them to do, including going to the bank, riding a bike on the street, making a t-shirt, going to the pet store, and visiting the doctor and dentist! They were also able to work on communicating with their communication devices to make transactions and have conversations. There was also an amazing sensory room and playground that was awesome. They had an amazing time and did a fantastic job.

Fourth and fifth grade students from Mrs. DeMatos' class at Franklin School took a trip to West Hudson Park for a hands-on gardening experience! They learned about gardening techniques and the nutrients our plants need to grow. 🌱🪴

At Franklin School, Mrs. Russo's 4th Grade ESL class got to be geologists for the day and learned about core sampling! Using FunDip, the team of scientists made the different layers of the Earth's crust and examined the cross section of layers from their cups. ⛏️🌍#GeologyRocks
At Franklin School, Mrs. Russo's ESL classes learned the importance of volunteering and doing for others in an interactive social-emotional learning lesson. We made Mother's Day cards for Alaris Health for all the moms there.🌎💐

On Friday, Ms. Klein's class went to Big Nick's and used their iPad communication devices to practice their communication skills, including ordering and using money to purchase lunch! Their progress this year has been amazing, these trips allow for immersive, life skills experiences.
