🌍💙 The Kearny School District believes the world needs all kinds of minds - curious, logical, creative, deliberate, reserved, extroverted. Every unique perspective strengthens our community and enriches our schools. Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we celebrate the beauty of neurodiversity and reaffirm our commitment to inclusion, understanding, and support for all learners. Together, we #LightItUpBlue for a brighter, more accepting world! 💙♾️ #WorldAutismAwarenessDay

Franklin School: Ms. Russo took her students on a little walk today to look for signs of Spring!

Franklin School: Ms. Cunha's Pre-K 3 students concluded their study on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle with a visit from Cali Carting. The children observed how the garbage truck operates and how it compacts the waste inside. They also had the opportunity to ask questions about the truck.

Wishing our community a joyous Eid Al-Fitr! May this day bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all who celebrate. ✨🌙

Our Franklin family glowed up the night with an evening full of hands-on fun! From glowing fairy jars to slime that lit up the room, our students and families shined bright in every activity. The Franklin School PSD/ABA classes are using their new communication board outside on the playground. They were very interested in it and even had some of the students tell us "I want play" and "I want slide". This will help them communicate with their friends and teachers!
