Franklin School: Students in Mrs. Janz's and Mrs. Onnembo's 4th grade classes celebrated learning about volcanoes with a" Volcano Day." The students spent the past week during ELA and Science class learning about volcanoes. In Science class, the two homerooms came together to construct their very own volcanic eruption. In Writing class, the students created a Wikipedia entry about a volcano they researched.

Franklin School: The Franklin Pre-K students had an unexpected visitor today for Character Day: a leprechaun! The leprechaun made the rounds in all the Pre-K classrooms, where the children enjoyed listening to the story “How to Catch a Leprechaun.” Perhaps our Pre-K students will be able to catch one with their traps!
Franklin School: Joe Romano visited our students to present his fun & engaging show “Books - The Magic is Real!” Students were able to participate in magic tricks inspired by popular children’s books. 📚

Franklin School: Mrs. Kyak’s 3rd grade KEEP class explored biomes and the unique adaptations of the creatures that inhabit them. For their final project, students selected a biome and designed a new species, incorporating adaptations to help it thrive in its environment.
