Franklin School: Mrs. Melker's 1st grade KEEP students constructed a bridge for the Gingerbread Man! These young engineers brainstormed and designed their bridges using Legos and wooden planks.
Franklin School: Mrs. Melker's 2nd grade KEEP students recreated renowned landmarks using molding clay! They made miniature versions from the Statue of Liberty to the Taj Mahal!

Franklin School: KEEP Teachers Mrs. Kyak and Mrs. Melker hosted a STEM lesson with Mrs. Magee's 3rd grade class. It was called, "Take Mrs. Melker and Mrs. Kyak to the TOP!" The students' challenge was to construct a ski lift using only a few materials provided! GO, Falcons!

Franklin School: Students from Miss Abrams’ and Mrs. Bento’s class have been working on their socialization skills in the cafeteria by ordering their lunch, interacting with peers, and following a new lunch routine. Students from Mrs. Janz’s class have been welcoming and are great peer models for the ABA students!

Franklin School: Mrs. Melker's KEEP students are practicing to be engineers! As part of the Fairytale STEM unit, these 1st graders built their own contraptions to help get Rapunzel down from her tower safely!
Franklin School: Mrs. McSorley's Science students are working on a STEM project. They are making games from cardboard boxes and recyclable materials to create a "4th Grade Arcade"!
Franklin School: It's that time of year - Mrs. McSorley's math students practiced working with factors and multiples in a football themed math center.
Franklin School: Ms. Klein's class had a great time visiting and buying a prize at the school store. They have done many things to earn a talon and will continue to do so. Special shout out to Ms. Padinha!
Franklin School held a contest for the "Ugliest Christmas Sweater!" That was fun!
Franklin School: Mrs. Encarnacao visited Mrs. Wilkinson's second grade class to read them a holiday book. She read The Gingerbread Pirates, and gave them a copy of the book for their classroom library!! Everyone loved the book and had a great time!!

Franklin School: Here is the awesome gingerbread house that Ms. DeJoseph and Mrs. Maria made for their students! They constructed it out of cardboard to create a fun and safe place the students could enjoy this holiday season. They were absolutely thrilled to play inside it!
