Garfield School held a door decorating contest and the competition was fierce! Garfield School Fifth Grade KEEP students participate in a thematic unit studying shipwrecks. Students designed and created life boats and tested out how many passengers could fit on their boats by using marbles in their model shipwrecked ocean.
Garfield School Third Grade KEEP students work together to create shovels to scoop up “snow” in a winter STEM activity.
Garfield School Library Emoji Story Title of the week was “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” Written and illustrated by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. Winners took home a book to keep and a special book mark. Make sure to stop by the library for a special holiday emoji story title this week!

Mrs. Abendschoen’s class learned all about how to make butter! They had a great time “shaking” their butter! It was delicious.
