Franklin School: The Pre-K 4 students at Franklin explored the fascinating world of a grocery store. They wrapped up their study with the grand opening of the FRANKLINS GROCERY STORE. The children had a great time playing various roles, including being customers, working at the cash register, bagging items, and even baking “cookies” as bakers. They also engaged in creating their shopping lists and cutting out coupons.
District students in grades 4 and 5 participated in A Day of Computing at Montclair State University!

Franklin School: Students in Mrs. Janz's and Mrs. Onnembo's 4th grade classes celebrated learning about volcanoes with a" Volcano Day." The students spent the past week during ELA and Science class learning about volcanoes. In Science class, the two homerooms came together to construct their very own volcanic eruption. In Writing class, the students created a Wikipedia entry about a volcano they researched.

Franklin School: The Franklin Pre-K students had an unexpected visitor today for Character Day: a leprechaun! The leprechaun made the rounds in all the Pre-K classrooms, where the children enjoyed listening to the story “How to Catch a Leprechaun.” Perhaps our Pre-K students will be able to catch one with their traps!
Franklin School: Joe Romano visited our students to present his fun & engaging show “Books - The Magic is Real!” Students were able to participate in magic tricks inspired by popular children’s books. 📚
