Washington School held their first ever Hispanic Heritage Parade in honor of #hispanicheritagemonth this past Friday. It was amazing to see students and staff proudly wearing clothing that represent their countries. We were also treated with a performance from the Peruvian Civic Association of NJ. Leonardo De La Torre and Ashley Castillo did a wonderful job showcasing the traditional Peruvian marinera dance at the culmination of our parade.
