Schuyler School - Congratulations to the winners of our iReady contest for December. These students had the most lessons passed in each homeroom, then each grade level, and the winner of the whole school!
Schuyler School - Congratulations to the iReady winner for Mrs. Walsh's 6th grade class. He passed over 25 math puzzles in the month of December.
Schuyler School - congratulations to Ms. Sofield's homeroom for winning our December Achieve3000 contest. This class had the highest number of activities completed at 75% or higher!

Schuyler School - Ms. Humphrey kept our KEEP classes were very busy this month with some creative projects. They made shelves for the elf, a rescue boat for the Gingerbread Man, gingerbread houses and Christmas trees with straws!!

Schuyler School - Mrs. Ferreiras class had THE BEST time having our pajama slumber party! We watched The Grinch and ate our snack on our beds. It was cozy and so much fun! We also had a special visitor!

Schuyler School - This past week Ms. Avino's Class had a couple mystery readers come in to read holiday books to the class. We were so excited to see who was going to come into the classroom each day to read. Thank you so much to Nathaniel's mom, Moriah's mom, Andrew's mom and Parker's mom for coming in to read to us!
Schuyler School - Today was Pick a Gift Day! A surprise was hidden behind each cup, and all staff members had a chance to pick their gift. It was fun to see what each person picked!!
Schuyler School - Today in Ms. Avino's Pre-K class the students participated in a fizzing candy cane science experiment. The students made predictions on what they thought would happen when they added vinegar to the candy canes and baking soda. We then discussed how the vinegar was reacting to the baking soda creating bubbles. We also talked about what had happened to the candy cane stripes as we added the vinegar into the container. The students had so much fun working together for this science experiment.
Schuyler School - Mrs. Ferreira's class made reindeer food today to help the reindeer find our houses! They also played bingo. They were all winners and got to pick some great prizes!
Schuyler School - second grade students loved their 'Grinchmas Day'!!
Schuyler School sends a special thank you to the Kearny Police Department for donating two bikes and other prizes for our new Tiger Bucks Store!!
Schuyler School - Today we had some special visitors from the high school who sang holiday songs for our students!
