Schuyler School - Yesterday Ms.Avino’s class released their butterflies. They had so much fun observing the butterflies each day and watching them change over the past few weeks. They also learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. When they released the butterflies they even got to hold one before it flew away!
In Mrs. Esparra's class, students nestle into their cozy reading nooks with a blend of digital stories and paperback books, lost in worlds crafted by words. 📚 From whispered character analyses to animated debates, it's a sanctuary where literary passion thrives.
At Schuyler, Mrs. Liu's students enhance their fine motor skills through creative Play-Doh activities, crafting a lunch menu that's both visually enticing and designed with sensory considerations in mind.
We're buzzing with excitement in Mrs. Riveira's class, where our busy bees transform immersive tales in cozy reading into lively discussions with their hive of friends. 🐝🌟
Schuyler School - Ms. DeRay's PreK class released their butterflies and ladybugs today!
Schuyler School - Mrs. Ferreria's class made houses and planted grass in front of them. The students sprinkled seeds in the soil and have been watering them and making sure they get plenty of sunlight. We came back today and couldn't believe how much our grass grew over the weekend!

Schuyler School - Congratulations to the winners of our iReady contest for April. These students passed the most lessons for each homeroom. We also honored the students who passed the most lessons in each grade and the grand champ of the school for April!

Schuyler School - Ms. Santiago's class celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a bunch of activities! Students took a survey with their classmates asking if they like to eat “chips and salsa” and graphed their data using bar graphs and marks! Students enjoyed listening to Mariachi music while completing this activity! Students also listened to a cute story with Cinco de Mayo influence called “Cinco de Mouse-o”! Finally for a fun art project, students created their own Mariachi guitars!
Schuyler School - The third grade students wrapped up their Poetry Unit by having their very own Poetry Cafe! The students shared their poems, snapped their fingers and enjoyed a special snack! Great job to all the kids!
