Did you know that March was Music In Our Schools Month? This month, Kindergartners in Mr. Burzynski’s music class at Washington chose which of our classroom instruments fit best with each part of the story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.” Then they performed the instruments along with the story, practicing resting position, taking turns, and playing technique on several percussion instruments.

This is your absolute LAST CHANCE to sign up for Washington School Alumni Day taking place on Friday, April 25th.
If you did not email safayee@kearnyschools.com and you did not receive an email last week outlining the events then you are not formally listed as a guest. Please contact Ms. Afayee via email by Wednesday, April 2nd if you would like to attend.
We will NOT take requests to attend after this date. Please understand due to space and safety of our students, we will also not accept walk ins the day of this event. There is limited space left for the 1-3pm slot, but still some space for 9-11am.
If you are interested in coming email your 1) name, 2) year of graduation, 3) your cell, 4) your desire to attend 9-11am or 1-3pm (again space is limited in the 1-3pm time frame).
