In honor of World Wildlife Conservation Day, the Lincoln Middle School EcoSchools cohort visited Garfield School's second graders to engage in a vibrant coloring activity. The LMS students crafted coloring books made from hand-drawn sketches of endangered species. Special thanks to Mrs. Cristalli for coordinating this event!🐼🐅

On November 13, the Tenafly Nature Preserve visited LMS, presenting Endangered NJ to our 8th grade students! 🌍🐢 Students explored factors behind animal endangerment and learned how human actions affect biodiversity. They even created a coloring book to raise awareness for over 60 endangered species in New Jersey! Plus, they met Rufus, the yellow rat snake, and Star, a 60-year-old box turtle. 🐍
