KHS: The Kearny Kardinals hosted their annual JV tournament last night. With over 225 wrestlers competing from 12 different towns. Our Kardianals wrestled exceptionally, with 4 wrestlers capturing medals. Freshman Miguel Betancourt and Sophomore Joel Ramsey both took home the Gold Medal. Freshmen Benjamin Cordero placed 2nd and Michael Pickard took home a hard fought bronze medal. Freshman Lucas Galvao wrestled tough all day and placed a respectable 4th. All of the Kardinals wrestled well last night and are improving each day and it truly showed last night. Special thanks to the parents, coaches and custodial staff for making this tournament a success. Come out and support our Seniors this Friday at 6pm in Kearny for our Senior Farewell match against Dover and our final matches at Lincoln MS on Saturday morning. Hope to see you all there.

KHS: The package design in the hallway was produced by my Graphic Design I students. The package design was their second marking period project. In doing this project the students learn how to measure and brainstorm design ideas on paper. Students then transfer their measurements and design ideas onto the computer using Adobe Illustrator. Students are to incorporate the logo that they developed in the first marking period, and select a product that pertains to their famous American client. When complete, students will print their design and construct a professional style prototype of the box. Joe Mr. Domalewski
